We've been in the house for a little over 4 months and we've tackled a lot of our original projects. The most recent was using some of the surplus house brick to make planter boxes around the trees in the front yard.
I'm not sure if I blogged about that particular night - when we snuck out in the middle of the night to set aside a crap-ton of the excess brick after the house was done. Specifically for projects like this, I wanted the brick to match the house.
I am obsessed with landscaping lights. My favorite is "Up Lights."
I love how the yard is finally growing in! We've been very diligent about making sure to pull weeds, use weed treatments, and I've even been edging!
