Winding Down

I received an email about needing the last 3 years of Tax Returns, plus the latest month's paystubs. It took a bit of creative footwork, as I didn't have a copy of 2017 at all and my 2018 wasn't a digital copy. In the end, it was all successfully uploaded/submitted today. My little counter says we are 28 days away from our "estimated construction completion" but... we already know the Construction Manager said that by the end of this week he would be signing off on moving forward with scheduling a closing date.

As for the house, the only obvious things left are:

[Exterior]

    Shutters on all windows

    Sod + Landscaping Package for the front & backyard

[Interior]

   The Appliance package: Stove, Built-In Microwave, Dishwasher, Wash/Dryer

   Whole-house Hardware Package for all cabinetry

    2" Wood Blinds for all windows

I say "obvious" because there very well may be things like circuit-testing, or something that I'm unaware of that still needs to be done. But I can literally not see anything else missing (aside from MYSELF, haha)! However, they did give us a range of Oct 12 - Dec 12 for Construction Completion, so they were pretty SPOT ON with their timeline.

I have to give Pulte all the credit and kudos in the world. On more than one occasion in my life, I had been given the 2Cent Opinion about making sure to never go directly through a builder... but contrary to all the reasons concerning why, they have proven themselves nothing but honest, flexible, accurate, transparent, and above all -- they never once made us feel stupid. SO MANY PLACES we walked into to view models, the agent working the floor had a tendency to look down their nose at us. 

I can't tell you how many times I went back and forth with the Model Home Agent/Rep Claudia in email, questioning this-or-that; comparing this floor vs that floor; or stopping by to see if there was a "near completion" model of our house that I could walk through for measuring purposes --- and she always obliged. We'd laugh at my neurotic tendencies together. So, when it comes time to give them their review. 10++ Stars. The whole way.
